Nepathya for All – Series – 2005/06

"Nepathya for All" was a series of concerts planned at shelter homes and rehabilitation centres supporting disadvantaged communities. These concerts were designed for those who had an interest in music but could not attend regular concerts due to financial, physical, mental, social, or other reasons.

During 2006, Nepathya visited 6 such places, incorporating and entertaining these communities. Shows performed under this series included:

  1. Maiti Nepal – for children, girls, and women living at this shelter and rehabilitation center. The children included orphans and conflict victims, while girls and women were survivors rescued from brothels in India. Some of them, including children, are HIV positive.
  2. CPCS – for street children.
  3. Bal Mandir – a government-run orphanage.
  4. UCEP Rugmark Shelter – for rescued child laborers and bonded laborers.
  5. For a group of sight- and hearing-impaired individuals.
  6. For a group of mentally disabled children.
