Shanti ko Lagi Sikchya Tour 2002

First of Nepathya's tours advocating education for peace.

Back in 2002, Nepathya alone traveled to 5 cities from east to west with the slogan Education for Peace.

The Shanti ko Lagi Sikchya Tour was organised in 5 cities of Nepal. This tour was not only credited for utilising the power of music for a noble cause but was also applauded for opening new horizons to the entertainment business in the country. It paved a new arena of possibilities for professional musical events in the nation.

Shanti ko Lagi Sikchya (“Education for Peace”) Tour 2002
After the enforcement of the State of Emergency in 2001, Nepal’s entertainment sector had come to a standstill. Politics was entering schools and directly affecting small school kids. Nepathya stood out and went on a tour at a time when travelling alone was considered risky. The tour carried the call Education for Peace. All funds collected (approx. Nepalese rupees 400,000) were donated to public schools in the venue cities for building libraries.
